Richard Henley.

I am a multi-disciplinary designer, specialised in set design for film and theatre, and product design for interiors. Above all, I am interested in combining narratives with design and craftsmanship.

ABOUT
IMG_1165.JPG

I am a multi-disciplinary designer based in London, working fluidly between set design, product design, exhibitions, and more. My approach is deeply rooted in storytelling, and I firmly believe that sharing ideas across disciplines enhances the creative potential of any project.

I’ve had the privilege of contributing designs to major feature films including Wicked, the Broadway production of Cabaret (winning a Tony award for its set design), and for the leading interior design studio, Porta Romana.

With a wide-ranging skillset, I am able to work from concept to final delivery, visualising my designs through concept artwork and precise technical specification. Having worked extensively with fabricators and set builders, I have a strong understanding of materials and craftsmanship in order to then bring my designs to life.

I am always eager to explore new ideas and take on diverse projects. If you're interested in working with me or collaborating, please get in touch.
